branding for the traditional movie theater studio filmtheater in kiel. i developed a logo that maintained the classical character of the cinema steeped in history, by referring to old film strips as well as the characteristic heavy movie curtains. the choice of colour was also drawn from that inspiration, as they are an attribute of this beautiful cinema. i transferred these characteristics into a modern language of form, by creating a reduced line-based composition.
